Dr. Ermagun is a great teacher really cares about his students. The material was very interesting and kept the students engaged. He was also the most accommodating professor I had during the online class.
This is the best course I have taken at Mississippi State University. In addition, Dr. Ermagun made learning the course material worthwhile. The class was very practical and filled with lots of applications in Travel Behavior Modeling. The use of new tools such as Stata was the best part of the course. Dr. Ermagun set high expectations for the course and was very engaging throughout the semester. He ensured we were engaged in the class discussions.
I've taken this class before, and I have to say Dr. Ermagun far exceeded my expectations. I expected the class to be extremely monotonous and devoid of learning like last time, which was the antithesis of how it's been. Ermagun has been enthusiastic, helpful, engaging. He made the course content understandable and digestible. And when I didn't understand something I'd email him at, say, 3pm on a Friday and he would have a full explanation in my inbox before I could go look in the fridge and come back.
He is very interested in innovative teaching methods, which is refreshing for our department. He is very bright, and is always willing to help

You displayed true passion for teaching, and acted on the issues students brought up during the mid-term reviews. In my opinion, if you continue this, you will become one of the best teachers at Mississippi State University or wherever you are.
Really learned a lot of the “real world” aspects of transportation problems and how the transportation world works
